Intern Skills
We work our interns hard. This is not a summer vacation. You’ll need to demonstrate proficiency in these skills:
- AutoCad drafting
- Statics calculations including drawing bending moment diagrams and shear force diagrams and calculating axial forces, bending moments and reactions.
- Knowledge of AS1170, AS4100, AS3600, AS2870, AS1684, AS3700, and AS1720.
- Own safety boots for site inspections and site measures.
- A desire to get a broad understanding of residential structural engineering processes.
